Mount Joy Kitchen Remodel
Before Remodel
Project Description
The kitchen in this Mount Joy home needed a change from its builder-grade cabinets and counters so the homeowner paid a visit to our showroom. One of our displays depicted the desired look: maple cabinets, granite counters and travertine backsplash.
We set about turning our display into our client’s dream kitchen. The existing lay-out was efficient for the way the kitchen was used so we simply needed to perfect it by adding more drawers and organizational features like spice racks, cutlery dividers and pull-out shelves into the new cabinetry.
Plentiful recessed lights and pendant lights over the island offered lots of illumination for all kitchen tasks.
One of the major highlights of the project was the floating bamboo floor installed seamlessly thought out the kitchen, family room and laundry room.
A banister previously separated the kitchen and carpeted family room. Removing that visual block and using one floor covering in the entire space created the updated, open feel our client sought.
