Appliance Service Technician
Diagnose and repair major kitchen and laundry home appliances. Communicate with customer and provide options on repair and replacing appliances. Complete all service calls as directed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair major home appliances including, but not limited to, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, washing machines, dryers
• Mechanical repairs for home appliances, basic electrical repairs
• Parts replacements for brands such as LG, Electrolux, Frigidaire, Whirlpool, Kitchenaid, Speed Queen
• Maintain high quality customer service
• Partner with supervisor to ensure key performance metrics and productivity goals
• Order materials and parts for projects in a timely manner
• Maintain proper documentation for parts and time using the Tech Anywhere app
• Communicate with dispatch office and customers
• Attend and complete required vendor training
• Partner with appliance service team for advanced mechanical and electrical repairs
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in appliance repair is preferred
• Experience with GE, LG, Whirlpool, Maytag, Kitchenaid, Amana, Frigidaire is preferred
• Comfortable with mechanical troubleshooting
• Relevant product knowledge and training
Required license or certification:
• Driver’s license
