Summary: The Commercial Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings. This role requires a deep understanding of commercial plumbing systems, strong problem solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings or fixtures of water or drainage systems
- Cutting, threading and bending various pipes
- Communicate with project manager to determine scope of work
Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout - Consult project manager with staffing needs and issues
Complete jobs on time and within budget
Arrange meetings with project manager to discuss project when needed - Other duties as assigned by the project manager, plumbing managers or Board of Directors
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the plumbing trade with experience on commercial construction job sites
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipment
- Organizational skills to process required job site paperwork
- Strong team building and leadership skills
- Good analytical skills and attention to details with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals
- Journeyman and/or Master license is a plus
