Summary: We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Foreman to join our team. As an HVAC Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge and excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Organize, supervise, lead and train employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames
- Follow blueprints or other design specifications to install HVAC systems
- Oversee installation of commercial rooftop units
- Properly manage field manpower level on projects to accomplish the workload per the schedule
- Manage overall field labor costs through budgeted hours
- Complete required paperwork in a timely manner
- Communicate scheduling concerns with Project Manager or General Contractor
- Promote positive work environment and company culture
- Inspection and maintenance of job safety guidelines
- Partner with general contractor and sub-contractors as necessary
- Carry out additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Commercial HVAC construction experience
- Previous experience overseeing crews of 1-3 commercial HVAC technicians
- Strong team building and leadership skills
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints
- Preferred experience with VRF or VAV systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize customer needs
