Summary

The Residential Kitchen & Bath Remodel Technician is responsible for performing skilled remodeling and renovation work in residential kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas of the home. This position requires a well-rounded understanding of residential construction, strong attention to detail, and the ability to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Perform demolition and preparation work for residential kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects.
Complete various aspects of remodeling, including framing, drywall, trim, cabinetry, flooring, tile, painting, and finish carpentry.
Install and adjust cabinets, countertops, doors, trim, hardware, and other finish materials.
Perform tile installation, including layout, cutting, setting, grouting, and finishing.
Read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, specifications, and installation instructions.
Measure and lay out work accurately to ensure proper fit, alignment, and finish.
Identify potential issues or changes needed during the remodeling process and communicate them to the project manager.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout each project.
Work professionally and respectfully in customers’ homes while providing a positive customer experience.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards and project specifications.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable building codes.
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition.
Complete projects efficiently while maintaining a high level of workmanship and attention to detail.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in residential remodeling, construction, or a related skilled trade preferred.
Experience with kitchen and bathroom remodeling strongly preferred.
Proficiency in multiple areas of residential construction and finish work.
Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
Strong measuring, layout, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team.
