Kitchen – 2014
Project LocationLancaster, PA
The kitchen in this split level home was cramped and dark so the homeowners wanted to open things up for a larger, lighter, more integrated feel. We removed part of the wall between the kitchen and dining room to create a raised bar area. Relocating the range allowed us to add a dishwasher, a convenience the former kitchen was missing, and created more counter space for cooking. Ceiling height cabinets gained valuable storage space. The birch cabinets were complimented by quartz counters and a timeless subway tile backsplash. Glass mosaic tiles through the backsplash highlighted the colors in the quartz counters. The clients now have a beautiful kitchen that keeps them part of the group while entertaining.
