White House Chef John Moeller Once Again Wows The Crowd!
Last night, September 11th, was an unforgettable experience with White House Chef John Moeller!
Once again Brubaker Inc. was proud to host White House Chef John Moeller last night, September 11th, for another evening of cooking lessons, fabulous dining, and one-of-a-kind stories and experiences that he shared from his 14 years in the White House.
It was an especially fascinating and unique evening!
On the menu was an exceptionally flavorful corn chowder, made with locally picked corn from Lancaster County fields that morning. For the main dish, there was shrimp risotto, fresh picked yellow and green beans with carrots, a choice of red or white wines, and an absolutely delightful fresh made-before-our-eye peach cobbler with locally grown and harvested peaches.
Since returning to his hometown of Lancaster in 2010, John opened State of Affairs Catering. He has wrapped up the writing and publishing of his first book, Dining at the White House: From the President’s Table to Yours, which releases on September 24th.
Chef Moeller premiered in the Brubaker Inc. Performance Kitchen for the first time Wednesday October 17th of 2012. Since then Brubaker Inc. has hosted him for several engagements such as this. He has thoroughly delighted his participants with fabulous culinary creations, fine dining, and riveting stories from his 14 years serving three Presidential Families spanning over 5 Administrations.
Stay tuned for details soon for a special Autumn event featuring Chef Moeller!
