Everyone enjoyed White House Chef John Moeller and First Family Every Day Dining at Brubaker Inc.
Wednesday night, April 10th Brubaker Inc. was pleased to once again host White House Chef John Moeller in our Performance Kitchen, featuring ‘First Family Every Day Dining at the White House’.
A gathering of 16 people were on hand to experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of a fabulous steak dinner prepared by Chef Moeller and his assistant. The menu consisted of fresh chicken tortilla and lime soup (a favorite of both Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton), the previously mentioned pan-seared steak entree with an out-of-this-world au gratin sweet potato and Yukon Gold potato recipe, fresh green beans and shredded carrots, and creme brule with a vanilla bean infusion for dessert. The steak was so tender it could be cut with a butter knife. Every portion of the meal was marvelous in both taste and freshness.
The sights and the smells…the Brubaker Inc. Showroom and Performance Kitchen were filled with mouth-watering scents that built everyone’s excitement and anticipation for the upcoming meal. The group marveled at the skill and ease that Chef Moeller exhibited, seamlessly transitioning from one task to another, all the while telling stories and giving cooking tips as the meal was being created.
At the end, people left exhilarated over the event, the food, and the fabulous Brubaker Inc. Showroom. Chef Moeller also expressed his considerable pleasure with having the opportunity to use the Brubaker Inc. Performance Kitchen again.
Chef Moeller returns again Wednesday June 12th at the Brubaker Inc. Performance Kitchen. Later this year watch for his new book, Dining at the White House: From The President’s Table To Yours, to be released in late September.
