Chef John Moeller thrills the gathering at Brubaker Inc.
Wednesday night, October 17th, featured the premiere of White House Chef John Moeller in the Brubaker Inc. Performance Kitchen.
An intimate gathering of about 12-14 people gathered at 6:00 pm to experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of a sumptuous meal prepared by Chef Moeller and his assistant. The menu consisted of a fresh mixed green salad with French vinaigrette, beef bourguignon with red potatoes and French green beans, and dark chocolate mousse with fresh fruit for dessert. Comments were overheard that it was some of the most tender beef ever tasted. Others were heard to say that the chocolate mousse “…was to die for!”
The group marveled at the skill and ease that Chef Moeller exhibited, seamlessly transitioning from one task to another, all the while telling stories and giving cooking tips as the meal was being created.
The evening was topped off at the conclusion of dessert with stories from Chef’s 14 years in the White House kitchen, serving three Presidents and their families.
People left raving over the event, the food, the fabulous Brubaker Inc. Showroom, and the general overall fun that was experienced. Chef Moeller also expressed his considerable pleasure with having the Performance Kitchen for his use.
The next Chef Moeller fete is slated for Wednesday November 14th, 2012 at the Brubaker Inc. Performance Kitchen.
