Saturday, April 30th, with comfortable   temperatures and a partly sunny sky
  we held our annual Adopt-A-Highway
  litter cleanup as a part of the Great       Pennsylvania Cleanup. Many thanks to
  those who came out and participated,
  especially Bryan Applegarth, Doug Brubaker, and Paul Bruckhart.

Once again, the American Spirit Parade, honoring our armed forces veterans and those who have given their lives in service to the nation, was held on Saturday, April 30th, 2011 under beautiful sunny skies. Albert Snyder of York County was the Grand Marshall for this year's parade. One of the guests of note was the Marine Corp 2nd Division Band, stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC.
