Sweet and Healthy Christmas Recipes with Steph

Steph Baughman Dec 4 2014Last night we were pleased to have Stephany Molenko Baughman of Free 2 B Me in our Performance Kitchen once again to share her knowledge and to make sweet and healthy Christmas treats.

She shared various tips and pointers on how to eat healthy—especially during the Holiday Season.  Eating smart and getting a little exercise (20 minutes a day, three days a week) doesn’t have to be time consuming or expensive!

She showed the audience how easy and healthy it is to make your own whipped cream, vanilla cinnamon toasted almonds (almonds and cinnamon are both very good for you!), mini pumpkin cheesecakes, and lemon scones with a lemon glaze on top.  OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

At the end of the evening a drawing was held to win a portable induction cooktop, gourmet basket of goodies, and a cookware set.  Our winner was Jeff Mehaffey of Lancaster, who is a burgeoning cook himself!  He was thrilled to be the random drawing winner and will put his prizes to good use!

Be sure to visit us again when we have our next cooking experience with Steph soon!  Check our website often for updates!  In the meantime you can visit Steph at her new location in the old Flory Mill, 841 Flory Mill Road and Rt 741, Lancaster.
